More efficiency to task management
You can add attachments to tasks, for example, photos or instructions. Thus, the observations from the field, for example, during a meter change, can easily be shared with others.
With the new interface, you can send the task information to an external system, for example, for financial handling.
More accurate construction costs based on the implementation year
You can define exceptions for the implementation year of the plan. For example, the demolition of old network might happen later than the construction of a new network. Defining the actual time of execution for the actions that are implemented later gives you more accurate key figures of construction costs and network value.
Usability improvement in maintenance
Maintenance works can now be shown on map and the work location can be moved directly from the map. You can define different symbols to show the different statuses of works. This way, the works can easily be viewed on map. You can delete maintenance data in an easy way.
Maintenance data on pipes and lines can be visualized as line-like highlighting in Utility To Go. Observations can be marked as point-like locations to accurately indicate, for example, a leakage or a need for clearing.
Manage accessories in the field
View and edit the accessories of network objects, for example, meters or concentrators, in the field. You can document, for example, a new meter installed to a client point at the time of the installation or move an old concentrator from a distribution substation to the store and add a new one while physically replacing a concentrator.
Maximize the reliability of outage statistics in the electric network
New outage locking helps you to ensure that the outage statistics are based on correct outage information.
Outage validation has been expanded and the calculation of outage key figures has been unified inside Trimble DMS. At the same time, the usability of retroactive switching state management has been improved.
